About
Blockchain Poker was built to be a fun, easy way to help get more people using Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Bitcoin SV (BSV)!
Our goal with this project is to help grow the cryptocurrency community & ecosystem by showing people what is possible with true 21st century money.
A little about Blockchain Poker:
Instantly jump into a single-table No-Limit Texas Hold'em cash game, playing for real bitcoins!
There are no sign-ups, which means players can remain anonymous.
New players are automatically awarded free satoshis to play with, allowing anyone to jump in and play (even if they don't have any).
Agressive rake caps and rakeback give players even more opportunity to build up their bankroll.
Each chip is worth one satoshi (1/100,000,000 of a bitcoin).
Players can choose to play with either Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), or Bitcoin SV (BSV).

Question and answers
Q: What is Blockchain Poker?
A: Blockchain Poker is the easiest way to play Poker instantly, anonymously, and with real bitcoins. Its the first poker site to actually give out free bitcoins just for sitting down at a table and playing.
Q: I don't have any bitcoins. Can I still play?
A: Yes! New players automatically receive 100 satoshis to play with. If you ever run out, simply click the little icon next to your bankroll balance and your account will be 'topped up' instantly to 100 satoshis -- no strings attached!
Q: Why is the rake so low? What's the catch?
A: Cryptocurrencies allow Blockchain Poker to operate at a much lower cost than is typical, allowing Blockchain Poker to provide new players with free chips and higher stakes players with industry-leading rake and rakeback rewards.
Q: Is Blockchain Poker a dApp?
A: No. There are a few reasons why the hybrid model, of only using blockchains where they actually make the experience better, is ideal. It's easier for new players to jump in and play and allows using currencies on fully-open blockchains, like Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.
Q: What are each of the chips worth?
A: Each chip is worth one satoshi. There are 100,000,000 satoshis in a bitcoin.
Q: Does Blockchain Poker support multi-table tournaments?
A: Yes! Both sit n go's and scheduled multi-table tournaments are supported.
Q: Where can I report bugs or get assistance?
A: Use the in-app 'FEEDBACK' button (lower left) and provide an email if you need a response. Alternatively, you can contact us at support @ blockchain.poker. Either one will make sure that your issue gets into the ticketing system which someone from the team will be able to then review.
Q: Does Blockchain Poker support other alternative currencies?
A: Blockchain Poker supports Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Bitcoin SV (BSV).
Q: Can I still deposit traditional currencies (USD, CAD, EUR, AUD, etc)?
A: We've partnered with Paxful.com to allow fiat currency deposits. Withdrawals still need to be made to a Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, or Bitcoin SV wallet. There are lots of good resources online for Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Bitcoin SV if you need help converting your chips back into your local currency.
Q: Are players really anonymous?
A: Players are pseudonymous, meaning that Blockchain Poker does not store identifiable information about its players -- this both allows players to retain their privacy and protects players in the event of a data breach.
Q: Why is Bitcoin Cash (BCH) the default currency instead of Bitcoin (BTC)?
A: Bitcoin Cash provides a better and cheaper experience due to its lower network fees and higher reliability. Because of this, deposits are both free and instant when using Bitcoin Cash. The development roadmap also includes a number of upcoming features that are currently only possible on low-fee, reliable blockchains like Bitcoin Cash. Check out BitcoinCash.org to learn more or visit reddit.com/r/btc to join the discussion!
Q: How does Blockchain Poker limit/prevent multi-accounting?
A: By default, tables are limited to one PC per household. This does not, however, cover users who are using VPNs to play. These remaining edge cases will be resolved as we continue working through our development roadmap.
Q: What random number generator does Blockchain Poker use?
A: Blockchain Poker uses OpenSSL's RAND_bytes to generate random numbers from a CSPRNG. Rejection sampling is used to avoid modulo bias while converting the bytes into integers needed for a Fisher-Yates shuffle, which is performed on the deck immediately before each street is dealt.
Q: Is Blockchain Poker provably fair?
A: Implementation of provably fair hands is currently on the development roadmap.
Q: Does Blockchain Poker have rakeback and bonuses?
A: Yes! Players can redeem up to 50% rakeback, with additional bonuses coming soon.
