Background
The manufacturing industry represents the singular greatest contributor to the present age of industrialization. A lot has changed, from small scale productions to industrialized and automated bulk and large scale productions. It has gotten to a stage where to succeed in this whole new innovative world, one would have to heavily invest, be readily mobile with your ideas as well as be prepared to indulge in rather aggressive system of management.

Obstacles to the Industrial Revolution 4.0
There are a lot of challenges being faced by various companies operating under the manufacturing industry. These challenges constitute obstacles and obstructions to the breaking forth of the Industrial revolution 4.0.
Management of the capacities of production for a wide range of production capabilities stands as the prima challenge of the manufacturing industry. Improvement attempts have thus been left inefficient. This majorly due to the complex and bulky orders that come in at a steady rate, the high figures of clients pouring in, geographically difficult to reach production sites, as well as market competitions.
In searching for materials to be used or sourcing for manufacturers to be employed for a project, multiplicity of offers and solutions make selection a herculean task. This in turn, leads to rise in cost of production. Usually, middlemen brokers are usually employed to carry out such sourcing. Rates fixed by these brokers also lay in to the final cost of production as well.
Penetrating the market usually is tougher for the newer kids on the block. This is usually due to an absence of track records or histories on the part of these newer companies. There’s usually no way to ascertain how they operate or their integrity records. This forces the market to lean towards the older companies, choosing to pick history and track record over new shiny innovative options being presented by the newer companies. However, time has taught us that even those with clean history can also indulge in fraudulent practices.
Progress status of orders is virtually almost impossible. Due to the lack of transparency, all tust are bestowed on the provider, while it is hoped that they do what is expected f them and deliver in the right time.
When purchasers are in need of experts to carry out specific jobs for them, they find it tasking to locate the relevant manufacturer for such a job. They spend unnecessarily long amounts of time in the search for manpower possessing the minimum requirement of technical know-how. And when they finally do, it’s pretty expensive. This is peculiar to all, both large and small players in the industry.
The Productivist Panacea
Using a blockchain technology background, the productivist project seeks to introduce a whole new set of standards into the manufacturing industry as a whole. Production would be adequately decentralized as well as be an open system.
Digitalization is implemented for the storage process for all technical information. Destination and author of such information documents are guaranteed and trackable. They are also easily safeguarded.
Incorporating an online global market for industrialization and industrialists as well would be the main target of the productivist blockchain project. A peer to peer modus would be employed to ensure on-on-one communications between consumers and potential sellers of technical skills.
Ongoing contracts are secured using the Smart Contract module while keeps all details of all financial transactions strictly confidential.
The system would be a client-focus platform. Needs of the clients would be topmost priority ensuring that value is sustained.
Road map
Team and Advisors
The ingenuity of this work was due to the brilliance of the individual contributions and collective effort of the team. It was held solid at the core by the three original owners and founders of the erstwhile freelabster.com. Benjamin Pestel a Co-founder & CEO acts as a head for the project team, Stanislas Gobert is also Co-founder & CTO while Mélissa Ibghi a Co-founder & CLO constitute the top management team. Part of the top management would include Mazen Gharbi a Co-founder & Full stack Engineer, Alvaro Canton, Co-founder & Head of Communications. The rest of the team would include: Martha Scott Strategy and Business Developer (EN), Han Xu Wang, Additive Manufacturing, Benoit Benich, System Administrator and a host of many competent others.
Conclusion
It is crystal clear that the innovative emergence of productivist would be the turning point for the manufacturing industry. With its smart and adaptative systems, a common pool for technological consumers and providers can be established to create a forum of technologically minded individuals all coming together for one common goal. The team have done this but on a smaller scale earlier on with the freelabster.com model. There’s nothing stopping history from repeating itself but on a much larger scale. A community of technological industrialists is exactly what the production and manufacturing industry needs to adequately launch the Industrial Revolution 4.0.
