Alibaba also known as Alipay has completed its first transaction using blockchain within three seconds. This happened between AlipayHK and Gcash app (Philippines).
They have plan to widen this service worldwide in near future.
The benefits of cross border payment:
- No middleman or central organization
- Cost is comparatively low
- Reduced time to transfer fund
- It is secured and transparent
Now it is only matter of time when we will be able use this service to transfer money.
