The world we lived in doesn’t exist anymore. In less than 4 weeks our world has completely changed. Globally more than 200 countries are struggling to contain the spread of this pandemic. Some countries successfully some less so.
The main issue that we are facing is that this pandemic, the fear and uncertainty around is being used for nefarious purposes that we used to successfully contain before. There are severe restrictions of personal freedom being imposed globally and more and more calls for tracking solutions are being seen in more and more countries. It seems that even the countries that were the bastions of freedom and progressive tough on civil liberties are giving in. It is very hard to distinguish the real need to contain the epidemic and dictatorship tendencies on the general population in some countries.
We strongly believe that blockchain will be very powerful and probably the only tool that can be used to resist the tendencies to indiscriminately track individuals across the world.
