How Does the EPIK Token KYC Work?

As any company preparing for a token sale knows, there are a number of steps necessary to make sure that every participant is properly verified.

During the EPIK Token whitelist sign up, we are collecting certain pieces of information which allows us to:

1. Meet KYC (Know Your Customer and anti-money laundering compliance guidelines.
2. Ensure tokens are distributed fairly by making it possible for as many people to join the sale as possible.

What Sale Participants Need to Know

• The EPIK Token sale is an event which allows individuals to purchase EPIK Token. You should consider purchasing EPIK Tokens if you like to collect branded virtual items on any digital platform such as video games, mobile games, virtual reality, augmented reality, and social media networks. EPIK Token isn’t a security and shouldn’t be bought by anyone whose interest are in cryptocurrency speculation.

• Ether, “ETH” is the only acceptable form of payment during the token distribution event. During registration, you will be asked ot enter the address of the Ethereum wallet you prefer to use for the token event.

• Registration includes the collection of information in order to verify KYC (know your customer) for every participant, and that data will be run against AML (anti money laundering) databases.

• EPIK Token and our team will never request or send sensitive information via email.

How to Register

In order to be eligible to participate in the token distribution event, you must complete the registration process.

You may start the registration process on June 13, 2018 by visiting the EPIK Token website and clicking on the “Token Sale” button at the top of the page.

What Information is Collected For KYC?

The following information is necessary for KYC.

• First name

• Last name

• Date of birth

• Address Details: Street Address, City, State / Region, Country, ZIP / Postal Code

• Ethereum Wallet Address

After submitting your personal details and KYC, you will have to verify all information and agree to the Terms of Use.

Important: After registration is done, you will receive an email from EPIK Token asking you to activate your account. Please note, that the account will remain inactive until you confirm your registration information.

In the event we experience a large number of users, verification processing time may be be slower. This does not mean there was an issue with your KYC information — we will email you if there are any issues.
