Hi yanipetkov, thanks for your reply. In our opinion it is vital for crypto to succeed that the masses start using it. If you use the internet you are very likely to also use email. This is why we tied cryptocurrency and email together, similar to how Paypal did for fiat currency. We spoke to Paypal in fact before building Blockbasis, asking them if they could please add cryptocurrency. They denied and had no intensions of doing so. So we built Blockbasis.
In terms of authentication, we are about to go live with our newly developed DEX built on Bitshares where we will have two-factor implemented. Running on Bitshares gives our users the opportunity to exchange and transfer with each other directly through email, where Blockbasis just built an e-mail layer on top in order to make it easy for our users to exchange and transfer coins.
