Blast, a new layer-2 blockchain built on Ethereum, experienced a one-hour outage on Wednesday due to conflicts with Ethereum's Dencun upgrade.

Blast's mainnet went back online shortly after.

While a competitor plans a slower integration to benefit from lower fees, Blast attracted significant deposits before launch.
