Dust attack occurs when a malicious person sends small amounts of crypto assets to multiple wallet addresses, dispersing them like dust throughout the blockchain network.

The goal is not to steal cryptocurrency, but to associate one target address with another and identify the victim through hacking activity outside the blockchain.

UTXO-based addresses such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Dash are more vulnerable to dust attacks because they generate a new address for each remaining transaction.

Beware of dust attacks!!
