Last week's nine-figure hack at FTX appears to have been carried out by Sam Bankman-Fried himself, under the direction of the Bahamas Securities Commission.
On November 12, authorities "took steps to direct that all FTX digital assets be transferred to a digital wallet controlled by the Commission for safekeeping," the Commission said in a statement.
And after converting these FTX assets, the Bahamas government is now one of the largest Ethereum holders in the world.
