An unknown hacker breached Huobi's hot wallet on September 25, stealing 4,997 ETH (approximately $8 million at the time).

The hacker returned all the stolen ETH on October 7 and received a $400,000 white-hat bounty from Huobi.

This incident may help to restore confidence in Huobi after recent controversies, such as rumors of insolvency.
