Chinese businessman Wang Yicheng forged relationships with Thai law enforcement and political figures while a cryptocurrency account linked to him received over $90 million, including funds from pig-butchering scams.
The account was registered on Binance, and though Wang didn't respond to questions, the FBI and Secret Service attended a briefing linking him to cyber scams.
The account went dark in November 2022, and Wang continued to court officials, hosting an event in August, according to the Thai-Asia association's WeChat account.
