Mailchimp has confirmed that hackers have stolen data from over 100 clients. These data were used in phishing attacks against users of cryptocurrency services.
The breach was confirmed by Mailchimp on Monday, but over the weekend users of hardware cryptocurrency wallet Trezor were exposed to sophisticated phishing emails.
Unfortunately for Trezor users, probably hackers already knew the contact details of the emails and the possible types of crypto hardware and software they are using.
