Conti Group has begun building a cryptocurrency payment platform, a social network, and plans to create a casino, according to files that were leaked from the cybercrime group.
Creation of the Rust language system for use in smart contracts with ransomware, was discussed by Stern with one of his team members a few days before the Conti file leaked.
This blockchain-based system could give Conti the freedom to cash in and facilitate ransomware payments.
