While numerous nations grapple with populist uprisings with the right, center and left in shouting matches, I have asked some hard questions to myself.
What is a leader?
Do I really subscribe to this or that ideology?
What do I want in a leader and what am I willing to do to support this leader?
Hard questions to ask, but never the less important to get some clarity.
A. A leader is one who says little (tweets even less) and has a long history of positive achievements.
B. Idealogies aside, there are basic human rights and needs that must be met to ensure a healthy society. We are like an asteroid in America hurling towards a planet called Reality.
C. I want a leader that will include all of us, willing to speak the truth and does not accept any funds from a corporation. I am willing to sit in return and study the issues, research the money trail of who is undermining his progress and work within my community to enable economic penalities to institutions that oppose progress.
While no system is perfect it appears shameful that people are not enacting change at a pace that avoids social breakdown.
How can we keep track of all of this?
