Blockmason Joins The Chamber of Digital Commerce

As a base-layer blockchain technology company, Blockmason is committed to doing its share to nurture and grow the blockchain space. With that in mind, we’re excited to announce that Blockmason has become a member of the Chamber of Digital Commerce. The Chamber represents the world’s leading innovators, operators and investors in the digital asset and blockchain technology ecosystem, including start-ups, software companies, financial institutions and investment firms.

If you haven’t heard of them before, the Chamber’s mission is to promote the acceptance and use of digital assets and blockchain-based technologies. Through education, advocacy and working closely with policymakers, regulatory agencies and industry, our goal is to develop an environment that fosters innovation, jobs, and investment.

The Chamber’s current initiatives include the Token Alliance, the Smart Contracts Alliance, the Blockchain Intellectual Property Council, the Digital Assets Accounting Consortium, the Global Blockchain Forum and the State Working Group.

We look forward to being an active Chamber of Digital Commerce member and ensuring that Blockmason’s interests are well represented. Stay tuned for future updates on our relationship with the Chamber and what initiatives we are helping drive forward.

Join Our Credit Protocol Hackathon

It’s not too late, our dApp development hackathon is still running.

🏆 The Challenge 🏆
Solve a consumer finance problem by developing a dApp using the Credit Protocol.

The theme of this hackathon is “consumer finance .” We are challenging you to think of some glaring problem in the consumer finance world that can be solved using blockchain technology.

For example, perhaps you want to fix peer-to-peer lending. Or create a way for individuals to fund each others’ mortgages, instead of banks. Or maybe you want to revolutionize how auto loans work using the Credit Protocol and the blockchain.

It runs from July 6th to July 20th, 2018, so there is still time to enter the competition.

You can find out more including how to enter here.

We look forward to seeing what new, unique and interesting dApps you come up with!
