Students of the Swiss University will be able to pay for bitcoins

Located in the German part of Switzerland University of applied Sciences of Lucerne began to accept bitcoin as payment for tuition. This was reported on the website of the educational institution.

A new option has appeared thanks to a partnership of the University with startup Bitcoin Suisse AG to carry out processing.

“Bitcoin Suisse AG will assume the risks associated with exchange rate fluctuations,” — said on the website of the University.

The website also reported that incoming payments in bitcoins are converted into Fiat currency every week or every day if it reaches the threshold of 10 000 Swiss francs. The Commission will be 1%.
