Give me just about 5 minutes of your time and you'd be shocked that such an opportunity to exists.
Blockchain technology is breaking out the dawn of a new era. The era of digital economy. Gradually the eyes of the world are being opened towards the possibilities that this technology holds and alongside the opportunities are flooding in with.
Although the floodgates of opportunities have now being flung open, only very few have the net to fish out what the opportunity holds. Those positioned to seize these opportunities, not only grab them, they also profit off the learning of others enthusiastic about this technology, specifically adding a price tag to this their "intellectual property", making learning particularly costly.
As an enthusiast about the blockchain technology, I never really went through a formal learning process to acquire the knowledge I have now about the tech. I was sure that there were gaps in my knowledge base. Accidentally, I stumbled upon a news with the title "Aeternity, Dacade Launch Free Blockchain Course... ", I was almost joyfully going nuts!🤣 When I completely read the news title, especially the last part, " ... That Rewards Students With Crypto." It was sure that I'd go nuts.
I truly would have gone nuts, if some part of my conscious sanity didn't realize swiftly that I was in a public place and quickly advised me to compose myself. 😂 C'mon this is a double benefit platform, which didn't require anything from me, who wouldn't almost go nuts?!
So the answer the question, "Where do you learn about blockchain technology & earn as you do?"
Dacade is the platform to do so.
To be fully positioned to harness the possibilities of this learning platform, you'd agree with me that a superficial knowledge, at least, about the platform is necessary. So here it is...
What is Dacade?
Dacade Blockchain Peer-to-Peer Learning Platform
Dacade which is an acronym for Decentralized ACADEmy, is a peer to peer blockchain learning platform where you can earn cryptocurrencies by learning about the blockchain, building dapps and educating your peers.
Most learning sites only provides the students with the learning content and leaves out guiding the students to apply what has been learnt, either through a creative challenge or active feedback from tutors, especially because of the cost of doing so. Dacade however, focuses you on the application of learned content and creates a platform for active social learning, as peers (not only tutors) can provide guidance your learning path.
Communites on Dacade
Communities on Dacade are like learning sections, which allows you to be on a section of Dacade where your interest lies, surrounded by persons who have similar interests as well. Such sections is what create a strong social learning forum, where persons of similar interests as you aid one another's learning.
Communities are created by tutors. Within these communites, the tutors provides the learning contents, means through which what is learnt is tested and creative challenges where what is learnt can be applied. Communities also allows you deepen your learning as you can read the submission of your peers and leave feedbacks on them.
Currently there are two communities on Dacade, namely;
• Introduction to Blockchain technology.
• Blockchain Development 101.
More communities will be rolling out soon, including;
• Introduction to Html.
• Introduction to Aeternity.
• Introduction to Javascript.
• Aeternity Developer.
So let's get to the best part, the Rewards! 😁
Dacade Rewards System.
Dacade dishes out to you, three kinds of rewards.
- Learning Points ( LP)
- Teaching Points (TP)
- Cryptocurrency Rewards (worth in dollars)
Dacade Rewards Dashboard
Although they are all different, earning reward 1 or 2 usually earns you reward 3, as explained below.
LP & Cryptocurrency Rewards
Learning Points are gotten at the completion of the challenge at end of the course. After your submission have been reviewed and scored, your score turns to your learning point. For example, say CED scores 8/10 in the challenge at the end of a course, automatically, he has earned 8 LP.
Every community has a metric by which the challenge submissions are judged and LP awarded. The "Introduction to Blockchain" community has the following metric;
• Relevance -- 6LP
• Originality -- 3LP
• Quality -- 1LP
That is, there are 10LPs max in total that can be earned in the "Introduction to Blockchain" community.
For all communities, regardless of the LP metric, Cryptocurrency rewards are awarded when you score 70% or above of the max community LP. That is, in the "Introduction to Blockchain" community, you'd have to score 7/10 or above.
TP & Cryptocurrency Rewards
As previously mentioned, Dacade is an active social learning platform which allows peers to learn from one another. The TPs come from peers dropping feedbacks on other peer's challenge submission.
At the moment, the challenge submission is reviewed by the tutor who created the community and then the feedbacks are also reviewed based on quality and relevance.
You get cryptocurrency rewards for your feedback. Different communities have different max rewards that can be earned. In the "Introduction to Blockchain" community, a user can only earn up to $2 per feedback while in the "Blockchain development 101" community, a feedback can earn you up to $4.
Understand that for each feedback you drop, you earn both TPs & Cryptocurrency rewards which are usually equal. That is, if a feedback earns you 0.5TP, it earns you $0.5 as well.
Dropping feedbacks is how I earned most of the $100 in less than 4weeks. Interestingly, only from the "Introduction to Blockchain" community. I'm not skilled in blockchain development yet to start dropping feedbacks there. 😂
So how did I do that?
I simply visited Dacade everyday, checked for new submissions and dropped feedbacks on these submissions. I've been given some tips on how to drop relevant and quality feedback, without necessarily "writing a book".
That's what we'll discuss next.
How to Make A Good Feedback on Dacade's "Introduction to Blockchain" Community .
I cannot emphasize enough how important how feedbacks are to the community and to you, that is if you wish to earn some little extra income from Dacade. To deepen the learning of your peers and to also increase your chances of earning the max $2 per feedback.
Correct misconceptions in the use case especially when it concerns blockchain content.
Specify the level of relevance of the blockchain technology in solving the mentioned problems. You could also add, if the downsides of using the blockchain technology outweighs the benefits of it.
Comment on the originality of the Idea. Mention how often is using the blockchain in the niche, specified by the user, talked about in the web.
Comment on what was missed out. You could also briefly talk about the user's presentation of the use case. Did he explicitly state the problems and how it can be solved? Could he have been more elaborate? Comment on what could have been added. (This tip is not so important as the first three tips).
More About Dacade.
Dacade is focusing on the application of learned content. This is essentially why it places use case challenges at the end of each course or community. These are the use cases which also earns you $10 or $50 depending on the course you complete. You should look at Dacade beyond the little rewards it incentivizes you with for finishing a course. Learn to see the value of the practical application benefits it also inculcates in you, preparing you for the avalanche of opportunities which the blockchain is already cascading down upon us.
In case you're wondering where the incentives come from, Dacade collaborates with Aeternity Blockchain for this. I think this is majorly why your dollars worth of rewards are paid in AE tokens. You won't have to go through too much stress converting the tokens, AE tokens are listen on Binance. So I'd advice that during withdrawal, use your binance AE wallet address, to ease other conversion processes of your choice.
For the second community however, Blockchain Development 101, you're rewarded in Ethereum. The community is made possible by CryptoGanda.
Dacade Founder - Moritz Stellmacher
Dacade is founded and developed by Moritz Stellmacher, who is very responsive and transparent. If you have any questions, you can have it answered by him on the Dacade Telegram group.
In Conclusion,
It's fun to learn, but what's "funnest" is to learn and earn at same time, without You losing a dine. Dacade is the "funnest" place to learn. Should You not be a blockchain fan, just get on board and relax or drop feedbacks, other courses that interest you will be rolled out soon.
So what can I say, I guess, Come Learn & Earn with your peers on Dacade. Consider it my Christmas 🎁 to you!.😊
You have no reason to say no right? 😊
Thanks for Reading.
