Multiversum Business SWOT Analysis

In my previous post I did a review on Multiversum project you can check it out here. For this article I will be doing SWOT analysis on Multiversum to be able to determine the project strength, weakness, opportunity and threat. SWOT analysis will help us to identify the objectives of the project and also the internal and external factors that are favorable and unfavorable to achieving the project objectives. Let’s get started.....

Strength

• Relational Blockchain: If you are familiar with relational databases how data is been structured with different data types? Multiversum has built a relational blockchain which will make it easy to work with blockchain data which will increase the overall speed of the blockchain.

• Transaction Speed: Sending transaction from one wallet to another using Multiversum takes just 0.2 seconds for the transaction to be received by the other wallet. This I consider very impressive.

• High Transaction Rate: Multiversum can handle up to 64,000 transactions per seconds (1000 transaction per seconds/ per core) on a 64 cores server which will meet any organizational or project needs.

• Secure Wallet System: Multiversum has implemented a high level of security on the wallet system, transactions can be perform using bio-metric.

• Rollback on Tokens: This is one of the greatest strength of Multiversum currently no other blockchain offer such features. Other blockchains once tokens are issued, they can't be reversed, Multiversum offers rollback on tokens which is very important for projects.

• Availability of Mobile App: While most blockchain makes use third party mobile app or no mobile app at all, Multiversum boast of Android mobile wallet app which users can use to send and receive payment anywhere around the world.

Weaknesses

• No IOS Mobile Wallet App: IOS have large community user base and releasing the IOS version of the app alongside the Android would have been a great boast and that would give all the platform users the opportunity to test out the mobile application and see the workability of the blockchain. I am an android user and I test the android version of the application and I can confirm that all is working well. IOS users cannot confidently vouch for the app when they have not used it or test it.

Opportunities

• Untapped market: Blockchain still on its early development stage have not meet a tailored usage for Administrative, Industrial, Financial and Governmental needs, Multiversum want to tap into this billion dollar market and provide a tailored blockchain that will fit the Administrative, Industrial, Financial and Governmental needs.

• Wider Outreach: Multiversum has reach out to a wider range of community ranging from industries, financial institutions, Governmental institution within the last two month alone, Multiversum have attended over 7 Submits and Expo events where they preach the gospel of blockchain 4.0 and why they are here to stay.

• Partnerships: It's no longer hidden news that Multiversum is developing an election voting system which will allow Italian citizens abroad to be able to participate in any ongoing election irrespective of where they are residing at the time of the election. Threats

• Regulations: While some countries see blockchain as a blessing and seek for ways to legalize the use of crypto currency just like Japan did, other countries like China have came out strong against crypto currency and placing ban on the activities of the crypto currency. If more countries in the future take the same stand with the Chinese, It will affect the general acceptance of the project.

Conclusion

As you can see, after conducting SWOT analysis on Multiversum project to determine the internal and external factors that are favorable and unfavorable to achieving the project aims and objectives. You will agree with me that the opportunities the project presents outweighed any other mitigating factor that will limit the project from achieving its aims and objectives. Therefore I am rating Multiversum very high and I believe Multiversum will be a great success.
