Lately in brazil the use of bitcoin have been growing considerably and reached a point the even without being recognized as an currency by the Brazilian Government, the Brazilian IRS(Receita Federal Brasileira) request the all bitcoin owners declare their bitcoin possessions as patrimony to pay the taxes over it.

(Well as usual the government wants go take some even when they have no idea how it works... not really big news over here hahahaha).

After all the corruption cases uncovered recently the government just started to announce some crazy laws and I'm seeing the use of bitcoin growing even more this 2017.

For sure the government will try to get their cut but I don't see that happening any time soon, specially since they can't track the owners, but that won't stop them to try.
:P

PS: This is in case the Brazilian IRS its reading this. I don't own bitcoin I receive payments in food(cakes, corn, beans, etc) and animals(cows, horses, dogs, etc) hahahahahahahahahahahaha
