Alephium team started a project with aims to scale blockchains to handle tens of thousands of transactions per second [10,000+ TPS] in an open, permissionless network. And In late 2018, they achieved a peak throughput of over 10,000 TPS during tests of their Alpha version with consumer-grade AWS instances.
There are many team currently working on providing high TPS blockchains, but Alephium team is working on some additional features as well, but one particular feature is I liked is, it support for cross-shard transactions which provides a user experience, similar to single-chain platforms.
The details of the project and its features can be found at below article-

Next is the testnet. Would this be made public? Would there be a reward for participating developers?
Would be great though.

Lol, rewards will definitely make people participate in the testnet. But in all, I hope this works out well for them.

I think it’s a good time to launch a project. They have launched their alpha version and soon they’ll have thier testnet. Hope they pull this one off.

A good way to measure the alpha test is buy getting enough users to test the network at once to measure its scalability.

And a good way to get people, I mean a huge number of people to participate in the testnet is to give out incentives to the participants.

Alephium has been able to make a substantial impact in the industry, owing to the establishment of an algorithm which has made it possible for over 10,000 transactions to be processes in less than a second. Am delighted to know that the speed of transactions are getting faster by the day.

I really don't think they have implemented anything yet to make this claim. I am expecting that since they come from a reputable organization they should be able to deliver on it

Even it is great thing that they are still working for additional features. We will see something interesting soon about this.

First time I hear about them. Their BlockFlow algorithm looks really interesting. Did they plan to have a token sale, too?

When is the plan test net and possible mainnet for this peak transaction target?

Since how long this project is running? It seems they already tested alpha. So must years passed, but I don't see any token sale info.

a new blockchain project, which isn't really that new anymore. But I haven't heard anything about it yet. Looks interesting, comes on my list for the promising projects. Thanks for the hint
