While many of you will have already heard about this handy little website, I thought I'd share it out for anybody who may be wondering why their transactions are taking so long to confirm. And while many of us use market value to determine the value of cryptocurrencies, this is by no means an accurate metric to go by. If we want to more accurately evaluate a crypto's worth, we need to look to how well its platform/blockchain performs when applied to the real world.
To see the amount (or lack of) of congestion each network is dealing with, simply go to Blocktivity.info and click the red (!) icons next to the green, yellow, orange and red meters. Each will show a percentage ratio which represents congestion. If a particular blockchain happens to be operating at 100% capacity, you will also see the number of yet-to-be confirmed transactions on that network.
