A new way to get safer, more accessible and cheaper local and international communication services

Without a doubt, phone calls are still one of the most efficient ways to communicate, nowadays. We use our smartphones to make our businesses work and to live our social lives, as individuals. Moreover, we spent more and more time with our phones in our hands to access social media, entertainment, to do shopping, to search for various info, sent email, chat or text.

How much time do we spend using our mobile phones?

A recent study presented by eMarketer showed that 22% of mobile phone time is taken up by texting, 22% by phone calls, and 10% by email. Into how much time do these numbers translate to? On average, every day we spend around 55 minutes on phone calls and 25 minutes on mobile email.

Key numbers and facts regarding mobile calls and use of internet

  • The first mobile phone call was made in 1973, by a former Motorola inventor called Martin Cooper
  • The first mobile phones went on sale in the U.S. in 1983
  • Apple sold 340,000 iPhones per day in 2012
  • China has more internet users on mobile devices than on personal computers
    Current limitations
  • 77% of U.S. adults say they own a smartphone
  • Smartphone ownership is climbing in developing nations
  • In 2015 there were 2.6 billion smartphone subscriptions worldwide

Main issues related to our intensive smartphone usage

However, despite all the progress of the last years, mobile users still have to face a series of problems: some of them are related to roaming, because using your phone for internet access or calls, outside of your native country, can be extremely expensive; security and privacy of phone calls/chats/data usage is another problem, cyber-crimes and surveillance being two well-known threats of the latest period; it is tough to find solutions to adopt anonymity while making phone calls.

Discover TOR-Q-ALL - one of the most innovative blockchain-based solution for accessible and protected mobile phone calls and data

Despite recent updates regarding telecommunication services in the European Union, considered the backbone of Europe’s developing information society1, liberalization of this market still has a long way to go. And even though roaming charges are removed, telephone operators have narrowed their users’ access to roaming calls and data usage, by changing their subscription plans or their prepay options. This means that even know, at the end of 2017, citizens of EU are not free of roaming charges and have to pay high fees for calling outside of EU.

This is why a new innovative project was developed, over the course of the last years. TOR-Q-ALL was designed to offer local and international calls (including unlimited roaming), by providing a series of unique advantages, for both businesses and individuals. TOR-Q-ALL is a SIM-card based solution that is compatible with all GSM phone/smartphones, based on the USSD commands (short commands operated by users).

The TOR-Q-ALL platform offers a lot of attributes to secure the phone calls made by users.

Cellphones are garbage, they fry our brain like microwave does to a popcorn. We should all just throw them away.
