Welcome to the first LBX Blog. This will be a semi-regular update, giving our community news and insights into The London Block Exchange’s shenanigans. We will update you on things we are releasing, what we’re up to and all things LBX. We hope that this format will enable you to obtain some unique insights into the day-to-day doings of our business.

It’s such an exciting time and we’ve never felt more optimistic for the future of cryptocurrency. Here today we have Ava Glynn, our in-house project manager who is an LBX veteran, shedding light on the LBX journey thus far. Let’s get right to it!

First things first, how was LBX when you first started?
Really manic, a multitude of things were being done for the first time, as any start-up would upon inception. We were going at 100 miles an hour, trying to piece it all together. There was a wave of inspiration, excitement was in the air and we were thrilled to get started. A lot has changed naturally, in terms of structure, as the team has grown immensely. Most importantly the sharing of ideas is always evident and we work with some of the most talented, charismatic and crypto-hungry individuals in this space. Every single member of the team has a solid belief in innovation and there’s a drive to change the future of finance.

Seeing the creation of the app from start to finish has been unbelievably exciting as the idea unraveled and formed into a beautiful product and was further crystallised into an extremely desirable app. I couldn’t be happier with the team we’ve assembled, especially seeing the company’s vision gaining steam. We currently welcome individuals with open arms through our customer experience team and I believe the energy and culture of LBX is truly people-centred and motivating.

What is LBX in a nutshell?
The London Block Exchange as a concept is a product comprised of a collection of people with incredible experiences and backgrounds that will open new doors for the the future of finance. We’ve built a power house in your pocket, a cryptocurrency mobile platform (on iOS and Android) that enables you to trade cryptocurrency and off-ramp to GBP in real time. This too, alongside our knowledge hub, known as The College of Crypto and our critically acclaimed Daily Market Report, paired with our monthly events that bring together experts in the blockchain space have enabled the crypto-curious to make more informed trading decisions.

Any updates? What does the future hold?
We will be operating in the same way as other financial institutions do and be viewed as a legitimate player in the City of London — our understanding of cryptocurrency as a community is getting better by the hour and everyone is up to speed. We are so excited on what the future will unfold for everyone participating in this technology’s mass adoption. At LBX we will open the playing field as a safeguarded entity that offers another legitimate channel for people to spend their money. Our CEO, Benjamin Dives, is a true visionary entrepreneur who has managed to assemble a world class team powered by the LBX ethos, who are determined to change the way the cryptocurrency space is perceived.

We have lots of exciting things on the table, which we can’t expose just yet, but watch this space as we unravel more updates in the weeks to come.
