With all the new Crypto Coins coming out these days, where do you invest in 2018?steemCreated with Sketch.

This is more of a question to the community. I have been researching and investing in Cryptocurrency for about a year now. I usually stay with the big players. BTC, ETH, LTC, & DASH to name a few. But now there is BCH. Where does that fit in to the scheme of things for 2018. These where my main focuses when I started researching for this years investments.

As I started to look deeper into the community, and discovered there is A LOT of coins out there. Many that are new to the market, and many more being introduced this year. Their is some exciting work being done within the Crypto community. I have looked into a few projects (OAX, BURST, and VEN to name a few), but so many exist. How do you know which ones are REAL and which ones are money grabs. How do you remove the profit pumper/dumper bias out of the content you read? Where do you find proper research content. With giants like John McAfee moving coins with every tweet, how do you know whats real? I believe John has reviewed these coins, but people don't review them themselves. They Just see he gives a thumbs up and they blindly buy. I really like the fact he does some ground work and pushes some coins to the spotlight. It really isn't his fault people make blind moves.

In conclusion, I am very excited to see what 2018 will bring to the Crypto world as a whole. I want to invest with more of an open mind, as I try to learn as much as I can about new coins. Any feed back or places for good content to research coins would be much appreciated.

Thanks for your time,

Denwa

I’m sure you’re reading coindesk.com and the big ones that come up in google searches. Hope you were holding lite coin with its recent bump up. Steemit posts are often talking about lesser known coins. If you’re truly interested in the alt coins I would explore projects in the top 100 at coinmarketcap(their websites) and pick up on the news of ICOs if you’re into those. And the list you mentioned in post I think NEO belongs in there and of course hold steem :)

Thank you, yes I got lucky and picked up on LTC early last year. I will check out the Coinmarketcap site/s, as well as NEO. I have heard it a few times now. I am not big on pump and dump. I want real growth out of my coins over time. More of a supplemental income, not a get rich scheme. Thanks for your time.

Please Drop Any Links You Can. Thanks Again!

nice article. This was well written, and I’m sure these are concerns that many people question. Im excited to see what others have to say about it!

Thank you. Crypo isn't like stocks. It is hard to find good content (without bias). I try to read both sides of the particular project to get a more level idea of the potential and risks.

You’re welcome
