THE CRYPTO TREASURE HUNT

Do you remember the Pokemon Go fever few years ago?
I never understood how people from all different ages and countries were out there hunting pokemon treasures for no value or reward, or anything other than having accidents and end up in the hospital or get rubbed by a criminal waiting for that pokemon hunter.

I am not saying these apps are bad, people definitely need to learn how to control themselves, especially nowadays with technology, apps, mobiles, etc.

It was a matter of time for a new app to be released from the Crypto Space, and here it is AirCoins (AIRx)

AirCoins is the first multi cryptocurrency augmented reality (AR) platform I have heard of so far. I know there are other projects out there, but this is the first one I have seen with different cryptos integrated.

To understand a bit, Augmented Reality platform is a technology that creates a virtual image in the screen view of your device when you use your camera pointing at the real world:

With AirCoins, it works the same but what you see are “crypto coins”. You have a map in the app where it shows you where they are, once you are close to the treasure by less than 30 feet, you can claim it.

Some the cryptos we can hunt at the moment are:

• Electra (ECA): is a peer to peer decentralized cryptocurrency, fast with low fees, proof of work and proof of stake. Already in exchanges and with a very strong and united community.
• Diamond Bit (DMD): is another open-source cryptocurrency and descentralized. Also tradable in exchanges.
• FanFare (FAN): basically, is an app for video sharing for consumers to promote their favorite brands. You earn tokens by liking videos and posting videos about your favorite brands that will reward you if you bring good quality content. The rewards you earn you can then redeem them for products from their “Redemption Store”. This social commerce blockchain community will start their Pre-ICO in 38 days from today July 8th.
• OriginalCryptoCoin (OCC): Is a project focussed on education, helping blockchain entrepreneurs to develop their ideas by incorporating OCC into their project or app development.
• Action (ACTN): This blockchain based digital asset platform works as an incentive-driven rewards through points users can earn. You can redeem those points as a member for discounts in products and mostly services around the world from their business network. You can earn ACTN by referring to other users and writing reviews about business you used services, within the network. Already in a couple of exchanges.
• PokemonGoPKG (PKG): Is another decentralized game platform that operates on the blockchain.
• BitcoinBlack (BTCB) : another CRYPTOCURRENCY expected by their devs FOR MASS ADOPTION. I will have to read a bit more about this one since I did not understand the little scan I did to their website.
• Ditch-it: it is an app easy to use buy and sell platform. Users can list their goods, including second hand products.
• HostCoin (HOSTC): is a website hosting service built on the blockchain. Could not read more from the website since some links don't open lol.
  -LightYearsToken (LYS): could not read much of their website since they are “upgrading” it.
• Travelcoins (TRV): this project aims to build an ecosystem between travelers, agencies and transportation companies. Users will be able to trade their tokens for discounts, traveling benefits, exchange them for vacation deals.

… and others.

To be honest, I still have to read the majority of their white papers to understand the solutions this cryptos propose with their blockchains, although I found out about this APP because I heard of it in the Electra ECA community. ECA is one of my favorite projects and I think it is very cool users can have access to this crypto by hunting them around =)

What makes this hunting exciting?

When I asked in their Telegram Group to one of their admins, how I am going to be able to withdraw all my crypto hunted and / or trade the in the exchanges, this is the answer I got:

We will be on a standard Ethereum DEX (Decentralized Exchange) in the next few days. Our App also has a wallet built in and trading with our other partners coins will be enabled in the near future. AIRx will act as a base trading pair with our partner coins. Our partners' coins are already listed on multiple exchanges, brining AIRx liquidity. The project was self funded (No ICO), we have a App that was trending on Play stores first day. The city of Nevada and US Blockchain association signed us exclusive rights for our app to be in Las Vegas. Price of AIRx currently is based off of the valuation of our company. 10 Billion AIRx supply, 5 Billion will be dropped in App, 4 Billion for Private/Investors sale, 1 Billion for team.

So their main focus is an algorithm around user location as well as there is facility for location drop from their team. This is how they are able to support people across the globe. As a matter of interest their drop strategy is based on two premises: user location and independent drops.

For now, withdrawals are not enabled during initial release. It will be enabled when they get their exchange/atomic swap API connected. According to their Road Map, this will be in around 2 months.

AirCoins (AIRx) acts as a base trading pair with their partner's coins. Some of their partners are listed on multiple exchanges and therefore it brings liquidity to AIRx instantly.

Even though I thought I was not going to ever use a game like that at my age, I ended up using it and in a way it makes you feel like a kid again, but most importantly I personally think this project is another way to bridge the gap between the masses that don't understand the crypto space yet, because by using the application people will learn they can trade the crypto they found for other crypto in exchanges or just trade them for consumer benefits after redeeming their tokens.

I see it as a way to help the crypto mass adoption.
