Crypto is here to stay and while some are a part of it, many would like to but do not know how, so its up to the educators...
While many of us are investing, basically backing these companies, there are others who would like to be a part of this revolution and work for these companies. The problem being how does one learn the skills required to work for these companies? Well looking at some Crypto Teams it seems that Software Developers and Computer Science Majors seem to be the leading skills on Block Chain teams but these are not the only skills required. They also need advanced Math, Marketing, Sales, Business Managers etc. And one more piece to the puzzle is having some of these skills while speaking more than one launguage and understanding different cultures, because this is world wide market. Improvement on launguage and translation software will also help. So with the Block Chain growing in popularity has created many opportunities for thought with the foresight to capitalize on it.
https://themerkle.com/10-universities-that-offer-blockchain-courses/ This is great news that some colleges are offering Block Chain Courses but its not enough. In my opinion we need Dedicated Tech Schools for Block Chain.
The way forward, we need Block Chain 2-3 year courses where people do not waste time taking required classes for Colleges that do nothing but provide work for English teaches and Liberal Arts Majors. Instead they should focus on the Technology itself, with sub courses for Developers, Testers, Reviewers etc. Not everyone one needs to be a developer, you can have people lower on the totem pole who are happy to do data entry and have enough training to take instructions from the developer and perform technical tasks.
The next step forward is a high school technology course where students will receive a broad concept of Block Chain to wet the appetite of those hungry to pursue this technology.
America must get over this irrational fear of Nuclear power, this whole "Energy Crisis" would be a joke if we embraced Nuclear Power the way Europe does. I will keep my political opinion out of my blog because I vowed to do so, but over the past few years America has been doing things that Europe has been doing, why not approach Nuclear Power the way they do?
So in short goal for America to move forward with Block Chain.
- Nuclear Power (or a new technological break through to make power like Fusion or some theoretical thing).
- More college Courses on Block Chain.
- Tech Schools dedicated to Block Chain.
- A job search company like Monster should move to Block Chain and encourage Block Chain companies to list openings on their service.
- Books must be written on the subject by the experts, (Expect the Cardano team to already be doing this).
- Marketing classes should have a course on marketing for Block Chain.
- People should emphasis learning more languages (Cheers to Europe because they do this well).
- Language learning and translation software needs to be further developed. (Cheers Rosetta Stone and Google Translate).
- More governments and education systems embracing this new technology.
- The main stream media (MSM) gives them a break and stops the negative press attacks on them. Let the MSM show the fluff articles on Block Chain such as this on https://futurism.com/blockchain-is-helping-us-feed-the-worlds-hungriest-families/.
Quick Picks for those of you who read the whole article. Normally this short term would not be good calls but since Bitcoin is still not certain these events have not been priced in yet (By the way I think Bitcoin will bounce up some more after the Chinese New Year Feb. 16th.
- Walton Chain WTC- Masternode releases Feb.28th, https://www.waltonchain.org/notice-detail?id=000000005f6de19c015f827b9a510001. Masternodes are great for making the price go up and stay up, because people will hold massive amounts of the coin and never ever sell!
- DASH, Dash pay evolution wallet release Feb 28th https://github.com/dashpay/dash-roadmap/blob/master/README.md.
- Kyber Network KNC- releasing new wallet Feb. 28th. https://github.com/dashpay/dash-roadmap/blob/master/README.md.
- Lite Coin LTC- Hard for on Feb. 19th, and bigger news, the actual realease of Lite Pay! This will be huge Feb. 26th https://www.litepay.us/.
- Bitcoin BTC - There is plenty of news like Bitcoin Private hard for March 2nd but Bitcoin is just due to rise from its last correction https://twitter.com/bitcoinprivate.
I am not a financial advisor and this is not financial advise, this is just my personal speculations on the Crypto market. I think the article is important, I hope many of you resteem this, thanks.
Some good info here. Everyone is focusing on cryptos when the real treasure is the underlying blockchain tech.

Exactly and this will create many jobs. Like I said in the article, tech savy trained "Technicians" can work on the project doing the heavy lifting so to speak under the direction of the developers. And new jobs for educators, we need the main stream to embrace this thing and stop dragging their feet.
