I'm Done Writing About Steem Time For Blockchain Technology Research

How much more can I write?

Aren't you bored already from my babbling fourth and back about Steem, Steem Dollars, and Steem Power. I mean I been going on and on about it as if the entire world is dependent on such. Ironically someday in a idealistic dream of sorts everyone will use Steem dollars to conduct business.

Heck my blogs on Steemit could pay for my children's college and finance my new home even. Well considering how much they can earn with not that many votes. (I have yet to crunch out any babies, but talking in future terms) wishful thinking!

Imagine YouTube was using this Blockchain technology and absolutely no Ads. Those who joined it to become YouTube Creators aka video makers also could purchase what is known as YouTube Power (Non-Existent on YouTube as they use video Ads, just hypothetically speaking). The power to leapfrog over billions of other great hopefuls and millionaire YouTuber potentials wouldn't that be awesome. "Now that's what I call influence in the almighty $"

Imagine those viral videos with over 100,000+ thumbs up and million of views, what kind of earnings they would have if backed by this Steemit like earning potential per vote up aka thumb up and of course using the Blockchain. Heck I seen a post out here that earned $16,000+ for a little over 1000 up votes and the guy who posted it was just introducing himself. It's a Steem Engine Silly You Gotta Fuel It

Oh... Yeah I'm still writing about Steem. Oh well, what can I say I cannot quit thinking about how much money could be earned if any of my posts went viral like that.

Well again we earn nothing for views besides additional potential comments , followers and voters. So yeah I guess what counts more out here is the true opinions of our peers. In that case we must learn to become a crowd pleaser/teaser I guess again. In all actuality isn't that why folks create YouTube videos or anything online for that matter.

Why is it that out on places like Vine, there's many silly fools creating 6 second videos that really are worthless, but people keep watching. Why is Social Media as a whole so darn screwy and leaning more towards click bait? rather than ever truly caring to give more love to a person who cares about just being themselves.

The more popular you are on social media sometimes stems from how awesome looking your click bait aka thumbnails for said post appears to viewers, the rest takes being outlandish for most who score these days.

On places like Facebook where they claim to be the most secure network on the Social web. Spammers and scam artists nest and tend to grow legions of false profiles in an attempt to ruin our experience of the more normal kind, spamming the hell out of posts day in and day out to no end. Millions of people create Facecrook groups forcing others to join who never care to interact. It's a complete mess out there. (The abuse goes on and on and people simply do nothing about it)

Facebook ramps up things like begging us to pay for posting on their Facebook Pages. I never care to pay to post, but I may purchase some Steem Power. I mean to get my posts viewed by more people here equates to more potential earnings. Out there it means you earn nothing unless you have something you own outside of Facebook with a value proposition selling a product or service, monetized YouTube channel and or affiliate links/PPC Ads etc... (pay per click)

Things like this are part of what I call the failed social experiment. Why these major league social zoo's are actually ripping us all off? and why people just accept what they've been force fed online is beyond me. However this leads us to the Blockchain discussion aka Blockchain technology.

What in the World Is A Blockchain?

Blockchain technology is a sort of promissory note on the Internet of today. Without the promise to pay sort to speak. Basically what I'm getting at is it promises to come through for those why rely on it, and many will depend on what it promises which is a far more secure method to make any transactions online mostly dealing with money. Most banks today now are using Blockchain technology secure encryption to protect their clients from cyber attack.

There's private blockchains and public ones. Steemit is said to be using a public blockchain for our data, money transactions, and even social engagement or as they say curator up votes and interactions.

This is a total game changer in social communicators and if many networks start using the Blockchain and knowing that Steemit was one of the first if not the first to ever to succeed at it for a social network. That unseen reality would be trilling to experience and I'm going to bet that this is the underlining reasoning behind why it's drawn in so much popularity and in such a short period of time. Investors, bloggers, content curators you name it have flocked out here to see what they can churn out per post.

I know little about the technology so I watched this

I actually find it fun since I been posting and curating/providing commentary on this new network and digging for research. It's been something of a wild goose chase for me as I had no clue about what the Blockchain was, or how Bitcoins could be utilized and traded or converted out here using a Bitcoin exchange aka wallet. I do know now from researching in the last seven days that 1 Bitcoin is equivalent to about $578.26 or so currently. Just Google it!

You can type in Blockchain technology into YouTube and locate tons of relevant top trending videos on the subject. Now the huge fat question many people tend to have on their mind after doing all that research is. So who created Steemit? and is it legitimately on a public Blockchain that's secured from financial melt down, or malicious hacking/scammers/spammers.

I thought long and hard about those aspects and to tell you the truth I don't care who created it. I simply wish to be heard as I know we all have a point of view and many of us wish to get that opportunity for our unique perspective on things to someday get noticed by the masses.

Then one might ask. So why use a Bitcoin exchange to cash out?

I thought about that as soon as I discovered what Bitcoin was and how it fits into this technological money grabbing puzzle. Well to put it simply the network needs that promissory note. By us giving up aka investing either our time, money, social communications etc... into this platform it's also providing the network ability to sustain itself long term.

This is so mainly because in order to host a server to 1000's of people online and to scale it out to make way for millions of others. Such a networking website via server host must be able to withstand the test of time, which in return equates to a great deal of money to upkeep and maintain. Keeping data secure and maintaining the true integrity of such networking apps, website functionality, data storage, bandwidth and speed of the site after achieving such scale isn't easy.

It's a huge task to undertake as well and so everyone plays a role in it especially on a open source platform where the community powers it all. Each dollar invested into Steem Power helps us to continue to expand the openness, opportunities, global connectivity and so on and so fourth. Not many people will see this at first upon joining, but over time with a wiser approach to researching it all the possibilities are endless if we all begin to work it together rather than against. This includes those who are considered to be Steem whales with the most influence currently.

Taking responsibility for your blocks

That leads into the responsibility mode out here. When it's all said and done we all need to be responsive to one another and steadfast about handling fraudulent activities. We could only hope this is what has gone on out here and if any link in the Blockchain is weak regarding people trying to violate the rights of others, abuse of any kind, folks caught running scams etc...

Such poor conduct via posting or interactions needs get rectified as soon as detected, because it poses a threat to the good spirits of the community. Good conduct and true integrity in what we do out on Steemit should be rewarded. As we are all seeking to accomplish earning out here in our various methods of a more wiser approach to it all. Basically posing harm to the good will and normal flow of solid legit transactions in any community should be frowned upon aka down voted. Posting up fraudulent misleading content included, we shouldn't ever get lazy about monitoring what hits these screens pretty much.

Okay enough about Blockchain self policing, let's talk about the benefits of having a open yet secure network where everyone who contributes can gain some sort of benefit from its services offered. Steemit isn't just a place to blog and network it's a place online where merchants can set up shop. Where we can make purchases with our earned rewards in Steem dollars or some sort of Bitcoin conversion of sorts depending on exchange rates. This is proposed thus far as I have yet to hear anyone state that they have made a purchase on here. However you can currently convert your earned Steem dollars into other cryptocurrency and then use such at merchant locations that accept Bitcoins. Not many merchants around the planet accept such, but there surely are some.

One thing to keep in mind is that the Value of Bitcoins fluctuate a great deal so it would be wise to keep an active eye on how much 1 Bitcoin is worth in USD. That way you can get a better sense on what timing you should use to make any Steem $ conversions for cashing out or future purchases. As you can cash out at a much higher value or much lower. The lower the coin value obviously the less money in US dollars you will receive per coin. This is something I will keep an eye on day to day just as investors do with the stock market. The value increases the more folks care to invest into it all including big banking systems, governments, corporations, as well as the average consumer. (All the research done to create this post took about a week out on Steem)

Conclusion:

Try digging for answers as it's the best remedy to anything you are wishing to discover about that might be puzzling, just a sound word of advice. Let's hope more folks join, choose to invest in those who are true to the cause of helping support the growing community. Naysayers and those who create negativity lets not give them our time or energy as it's a waste to focus on them no matter what start-up gets launched or online/offline business. You know!

Yes this new age blogging/networking arena known as Steemit isn't fool proof, yes it's not something 100% trustworthy yet (meaning without risk), but the more we work on our true messages we present to the world the better chances it has to over achieve past what anyone expects. Look at the first few months of what has already been achieved with those who were far more positive about it all than anything else. They achieved such together as enthusiastic efforts in a team effort always produces awesome results!

Steemit paid out $1.3 million dollars to its users on July 4th 2016, and after the first month of its public launch back in June 2016. Peep where I located that info out on Wikipedia.

It's a brave new world of social media. As I understand it, as long as someone is processing the blockchain (is that witnesses?) it won't die, even if the website does. I'm less sure how our identities are tied to the blockchain. I really hope to see opportunities to spend Steem and/or Steem$. This site shows vendors who say they will take them https://www.steemlocator.com/

Thanks for that vendor locator reference. I'm so new to it all, but been blogging for years. I'm glad to have new found motivation to begin writing to earn. Used to do it many years back until Google Panda and Penguin hit us all.
