Micro Token Offerings are the newest token utility (and community event) pioneered by a project called STP, short for Standard Tokenization Protocol.
This article explains how to win the rewards being offered by MTOs.
A vast portion of token sales fund long-term developments and leave early adopters with little to look forward to beside occasional roadmap fulfillments. However, token issuances like STPT (utility token) are rare occurrence as STP is founded by Block 72, a blockchain-cored agency that has an existing cash flow.
In an effort to advance an early utility of STPT, Block 72 has engaged its cash flow to create Micro Token Offerings (MTOs), which are major reward-studded events, accessible only through STPT. There are 500 winners in each event, with top winners raking in as much as $4,000.
What is a Micro Token Offering?
MTOs are an evolution of the highly popular initial exchange offerings (IEOs) conducted on popular exchanges like Binance. Micro Token Offerings allow individuals to purchase listed tokens (already trading on exchanges) of high-quality projects at a 50% discount.
However, there are a few problems associated with IEOs.
Exclusive
The problem with IEOs, however, is that they are quite exclusive and can also be very risky. Binance’s last IEO required users to hold a minimum of 50 BNB for 10 days.At the initiation of the 10-day countdown, each BNB traded around $38.2; that’s almost an entry tag of $2,000, thereby making the IEO highly exclusive as many people cannot afford to place $2,000 in a volatile asset.
Highly Risky
The degree of risk associated with Binance’s last IEO was significant. While only about 10% of the users who staked BNB won the chance to buy IEO tokens, all others lost a significant amount of money as after the 10-day countdown had ended, BNB traded around $31.5. For anyone who bought 50 BNB for the sake of participating in the IEO, the event led to a loss of at least $335.
Mico Token Offerings (MTOs) have been designed to mitigate the problems associated with IEOs and deliver the improved solution in the STP ecosystem.
To participate in STP’s Micro Token Offerings, users need to send a minimum of 20 STPT to the event (MTO) address. At current pricing, that’s about 60 cents for entry. Compared to Binance’s last IEO, this is far more accessible than the $2,000 tag and a far lower risk than the minimum $335 loss faced by BNB stakers who did not get the chance to buy IEO tokens.
Micro Token Offerings, like the current Thunder Token MTO, offer discounted tokens at a much lower risk than that associated with IEOs.
How do MTOs Work
To participate in a Micro Token Offering, a user must send at least 20 STPT from a personal ERC-20 address to a target MTO address. Each MTO may have a dedicated event address, and MTO rules may change.
There’s a minimum countdown till each MTO’s closure. At the end, a lottery is conducted to select 500 winning addresses from the pool of addresses that sent STPT to the Micro Token Offering (MTO) address.
Each MTO is divided into four phases.
Phase 1 – Trigger
Interested participants/community members must send STPT (tokens) to the designated ERC-20 address. STPT is traded on major exchanges like Bittrex, Upbit, and BitMax; 20 STPT costs about 60 cents. The target ERC-20 address for the current MTO is:
0x91DA5c430F70Bb3D5A677dAF0da9D6d982d16c86
Address can be verified at the official announcement.
Phase 2 – Fire
The team announces 500 winners. For the current MTO of Thunder tokens, the prizes are as such:Top Prize: $8,000
Second Prize: $3,000
Winners 3 – 7: $1,000
Winners 8 – 500: $25
Each winner is able to purchase the allocated market value of Thunder Tokens at half price; as these tokens are already trading on reputable exchanges like Huobi and Upbit, they can be sold right away.
There will be additional 6 winners for this round of the MTO as participants will win extra prizes in Day 1 and Day 2 (prizes can be accumulated):
Top 3 (by the end of Day 1): $1,000
Top 3 (by the end of Day 2): $2,000
Phase 3 – Boom
Winners can buy their Thunder Token allocation at a 50% discount; the purchase has to be made with STPT.Phase 4 – Lock
All tokens—participation + winners’ purchases—used in the event are burned, and a new MTO initiates. An interesting point to note is that participants who do not win a specific MTO have their participation rolled over to the next round. Thus, a single participation can grant access to all MTOs till a winning allocation is received.

Tips for Boosting Odds of Winning
To win, participants need to maximize their MTO score. Three factors play a role in the MTO score.
MTO Score = TxID Score * Multiplier * Super Multiplier
Two of these factors are based on luck: TxID score and Super Multiplier.
TxID Score
A particular algorithm is used to convert your transaction ID; this is the transaction ID of the STPT you delivered to the Micro Token Offering address.Based on luck, some people will get a TxID that will lead to a high score from the given round’s algorithm.
Multiplier
The minimum amount a person needs to participate is 20 STPT ($0.6). However, up to 300 STPT can be sent to boost the Multiplier. The multiplier is a quotient of the number of STPT you send and “20.”As 20/20 is 1, sending 1 STPT will multiply your TxID score by 1.
As 300/20 is 15, sending 15 STPT will multiply your TxID by 15.
Super Multiplier
Depending on your luck, the last two characters of your TxID could both be even; in this case, your score is multiplied by 4. If one of the last two characters is even, your score is multiplied by 2.Example Scenario
- To participate in the MTO, I purchase 300 STPT and send it to the MTO address. The transaction ID of the payment I made to the MTO address will lead to a TxID score; this is based on luck. Suppose my score was 100.
- Because I sent 300 STPT, my multiplier is 15 because 300 divided by 20 is 15. My TxID score will now be multiplied by 15, pushing my score to 1,500.
- I managed to be lucky and the last two characters of my TxID turned out to be even; my score will not be multiplied by 4, giving me a final MTO score of 6,000.
If my score is within the top 500 MTO scores from all participating wallets, I will win the right to buy Thunder Tokens at a price that is 50% lower than the exchange rate. If I do not win, my participation will roll over to the next MTO.
Again, additional details on the MTO are accessible on the official announcement.
The target address for the current MTO is:
0x91DA5c430F70Bb3D5A677dAF0da9D6d982d16c86
Participants can buy STPT at Bittrex, Upbit, and BitMax, and just 20 STPT is enough to qualify.

I've resteemed thus for my friends who am sure will be interested in this.
Also, I still can't log in to my CBNT account for close to two months now because of that sliding thing.
The site is a little bit hard to access on mobile.
Nice project you got here though.

@hatu, In my opinion no matter which project, which exchange or any other aspect, if we see the rigidity to some extent then many users will find it ineffective in my opinion. Stay blessed brother.

I don't think this format is rigid. It keeps the participation bar pretty accessible.
