Thanks fo your insights. I'm rather new to the crypto-verse and trying to learn as much as i can about it. I have yet no investments in any coins but I've been following news on bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for over a year now. There is however still a lot that I do't really get. One thing that I don't get is why are people so crazy about bitcoin? Other than because they're heavily invested in it and because it is the reference to all the other cryptocurrencies for now. From what I see bitcoin is one of the least practical coins out there from a technical point of view. It's biggest value lies in it's novelty and revolutionary value-transfer technology. But that will fade away. Bitcoin's scalability issues and power consumption will not go away. Who's going to buy a cup of coffee with bitcoin knowing that the energy needed to process that transaction could power a house for 3 days? From a technical point of view there really are some very interesting coins out there but someone has yet to do something interesting with them for those coins to have any real value.
