Incent will never be this cheap again — here’s why

We’re rolling out our ICO software to new businesses, and distributing Incent as part of the deal. Naturally, it makes sense for us to do everything in our power to make sure no one can buy as cheaply as 6k/BTC again.

Incent’s crowdfund finishes at 23:59 UTC on 30 November, around 33 hours from time of writing. Right now you can buy Incent at 6,000 per BTC (0.00016666 BTC each). We want to make sure that from the end of our ICO, that’s never possible again.

So every time we deploy Incent to new customers in the course of our business, we’re going to be doing so at a minimum of 20,000 satoshis, or 5,000 per BTC.

ICOs are only just getting started. If you thought 2016 was a big year for crypto crowdfunds — with Waves, Lisk, DigixDAO, ICONOMI and a bunch of other seven- and eight-figure dollar projects — then you’re going to love 2017. The crowdfunding sector is growing, crypto is going mainstream (we’re one of the companies really working hard to make that a reality), and the intersection between those two things is going to get very exciting.

Incent is positioning itself to be at the forefront of that, thanks to our custom ICO software. The moment that goes live with client #1 on 2 December, we’ll be distributing Incent to hundreds, thousands, and in due course many tens of thousands of new investors. And we’ll be doing it at 5,000 per BTC, or at whatever the going market rate is.

That means we’ll be buying Incent back from the market to distribute to investors at a minimum of 20,000 satoshis, using the fixed percentage of ICO funds we’ve agreed with our clients will be part of the deal for using our software. So the market can do what it wants, but as far as we’re concerned, that’s the floor and that’s where we’ll be putting in support.
