thank you for the support friend :)

always enjoing your content as I am very new to the crypto world and you have the ability to make even a dummy like me to understand it.

awesome to hear man :)

Great video and I love your content, thanks so much for everything you do for the community!

I made a post where I summarized most of the main points you mentioned including links to your YT/Steemit account, hope you like it and that other Steemians can benefit from it:

The blockchain tech will be very useful and transformational in certain contexts, but I can see lots of devs rushing to put their app on the blockchain, just because it sounds cool, and not because it somehow adds value to their app. If you're a IT Manager, get ready for lots of requests to re-write fully functional apps, yet again.

haha I agree, blockchain has specific use cases but is not optimal for everything

Would be great to see a video on that and why it would not be great for certain use cases. ;)

What is blockchain not optimal for? Which are the industries you think it is least likely to disrupt?

thanks

you're welcome my friend

Well researched, and well organized!
Gave you a follow and a shout out on my last post!

thanks man, glad you liked it! :) thank you very much for the shoutout

Thank you for this one!
Stratis is a blockchain that had always remained a bit unclear to me.
Happy to be a follower and real glad you made it on Steemit!

I´m going backwards with your videos. I watched the one about EOS before. The question that arises is: is EOS the same thing as Stratis? Maybe on different platforms, but it looks like both offer the same service. Looks like they are competitors. Am I wrong?

@gregario EOS promotes using the Ethereum Solidity programming language where as Stratis uses the much simpler C Sharp language. They are competitors although EOS are not targeting as wide a range of business partners as Stratis is because their target market are businesses who are willing to invest significant resources and who have developers experienced in Solidity which do not account for many.
You can find out more about them in my review which is partly based on what @ivanli explains:

Great explanation. Thanks a lot. I´ll follow your indications in my next reading.

So Stratis is in C, as is the Nicholas version. What about the implementation of Bitcoin itself? Which platform does it use?

Stratis is in C Sharp, Bitcoin is in C++
