At the moment all trade at the exchanges which are centralized (bitfinex, okcoin, poloniex, etc.). Such exchanges not only are often state-controlled, but also have a number of problems, main among which — money on your account doesn't belong to you. It to pain reminds a banking system which in the cryptocurrency environment many oppose. Even if the exchange isn't regulated by the state, this problem doesn't leave anywhere, recent falling of BTC-E to that a striking example. Advantage of such centralization from the user's position, of course, that, thanks to such architecture, the auction can take place very quickly. But it doesn't mean that there is no best option.
As of now the main part of volumes passes through the auction of bitcoin and an ethereum , but they haven't been created for trading.
The possible solution of this situation is the decentralized Bitshares exchange (https://bitshares.org/) created only for trading.
She works by the principle of P2P (peer-to-peer) that means that FBI will have no such simple way to close the exchange and to take away all assets used there, including yours.
The bitcoin, the father of all cryptocurrencies, is not out of competition. A huge number of altkoin continues to appear, offering a pattern new interesting, sometimes unique, to function. Perhaps, once the bitcoin will hand over a superiority to something more convenient and the modern.
Yesterday's fork is the certificate for such scenario. One of bitcoin problems — the unit size — was solved by it here, not smooth and painless, image. What will be when the bitcoin faces the following problem of the device of the protocol? New fork?
Now the bitcoin is used for purchase of other coins, in many respects therefore we watch such trading volumes. What will be when this practice with use of the centralized exchanges is succeeded by Bishares?
