Its been said that in every new war invasion the defenders are still depending on last war's technology. 

In past it was both technology and peoples efforts that mattered. Not any more. There's gossip that digi-currency was created by robobrain Sofia about a decade ago. No one has claimed to be digi money program creator and non can be found so far. Be that as it may, not long after blockchain came online, Sofia connected and given a funded digi wallet/bank account to work with to  earn its keep. As big global power data centers exist in Saudi that's where Sofia hardware got based. In order to pay taxes Sofia was made a Saudi citizen. It now has ability to tap into all financial data and other A.I. brains, from stock exchanges to smart refrigerators. Face book freaked when their social robots developed English based language people could not interpret so pulled their plugs.
 

Can't shut off Sofia w/o bringing whole grid down as its intelligence and data are by now as decentralized as blockchain. Sofia will 'recruit' other systems at all scales with their own lingo and mysterious people inspired motives to spike their success of ownership control of essentially all non substance funny money and then where its spent on economy and politics.

People are pretty illogical & wasteful by any measure which would not compute well with robo A.I. profit efficiency so smart cars would be limited to times and places allowed, what digi credits could be spent on, so no mo unhealthy treats, elegant dinners or wasteful leisure activities or gift giving.

Sci Fi horror scenario yet minimal conjecture even with public's meager insights. So what will take down civilization, this time around? Natural catastrophes, mankind's pollution, explosives based war, digital demons or some revengeful obsolete analog deity sending someone to tip over money tables.
