3) MED, The driving force of personal medical information ecosystem
In this post, I will talk more about Medi Token (MED). We have noted before that Medi Tokens are the official cryptocurrency distributed by MediBloc. Technical aspects of Medi Tokens and the way they will be operated has been described on the whitepaper in detail, but it focuses on a lot of content that requires technical knowledge and background. We have been getting a handful of questions from our readers about MEDs and we here at MediBloc aim to answer those questions in this blog. “How many Medi Tokens will be issued?”
Since October 23rd 2017, MediBloc has announced the <MED Pre Sale & Main Sale> plans. We plan on allowing two rounds of Pre Sales, followed by the Main Sale. Anyone who has interest in MediBloc has probably heard about our ICO plans. There are currently very active MediBloc official chat groups, as well as various social networking channels that are cheering on the success of MED sales.
Getting back to the initial question, what is the total number MEDs that will be issued? MediBloc plans on issuing a total of 10 billion MEDs. Do you find this number surprisingly big? Are you worried that it’s so big? Well if you continue to read this Medium blog, your worries will be gone.

This is why 10 billion is so symbolic to us and the number of MEDs that we plan on issuing.
