I need to make this note, before taking your valuable time. Don't bother reading beyond this line, if your goal is not to be part of the Community driver Blockchain Development.

Connect me on linkedIn and i would be happy to be your connection :)

With so much happening around the Blockchain space like onchain improvements (Main Chain) and Side Chains (Plasma etc.,), almost everyday developer tools releases or enhancements, community vetted contracts from Openzeppelin, Upgradable Smart Contracts, ever increasing consensus algorithms etc., it's impossible for someone to manage and learn at the same time, unless we have a strong community dedicated to learning.

In this regards, I have decided to take the first step towards decentralized learning space, one step at a time. I have a couple ways that we (as Blockchain developers) can meet regularly, share and enhance our knowledge.

  1. Meetup Group: Feel free to join, even if you can't make to the meetup group. If i happen to see a diverse community joining, i may be forced to live stream the session and post the link post the meetup. Here's the link if you are interested to join India Blockchain Development Meetup Group

  2. Whatsapp Group: Again, this is a closed one as i don't want to bring everyone. So, if you really feel of joining this, PM me in linkedIn and i will share you the link. Again, the link will expire within 10 hours after i share the link. This is to ensure that we don't get spammed in the group.
Thank you for coming thus far in this article. If you are beginner, i would like to say thanks by pointing these beginner friendly readings on Blockchain Development.

  3. Chainshot

  4. Cryptozombies

  5. Navigate to Udemy and search Stephen Grider's Ethereum and Solidty: The Complete Developer's Guide

  6. EatTheBlocks, I ain't sure the reason behind the name, need to ask Julien about it. His newsletters are just awesome. Just sign up for those newsletters and you will get great information.

  7. Blockgeeks, Personally not a huge fan of their paid content, but some of the live youtube sessions they make would give perspective into the latest happening around the Blockchain space.

  8. Blockchain at Berkeley, a youtube channel that would give you information on fundamentals of Blockchain.

  9. Andreas antonopoulos, there are very few people in the Blockchain space that have jumped into the Blockchain ship when it was so very nascent. One of the very few well known and renowned in this space.

  10. What's Solidity, some of the content here could well be deprecated or even doesn't exist today, especially if you are going to use 0.5+ version of solidity. Nevertheless a good content to start with if you want to get your hands dirty at Solidity.

  11. Ethereum Foundation, This is a weekly Ethereum Core developer's call. I have to warn you though, unless you are comfortable into the basics of ethereum stuff, don't jump into these calls. It would be like a Jumanji Jungle game, without knowing what the heck are those lines (lifes) on your hand represent.

  12. Dapp University, One of the best learning resources. At the time of me writing this article he's having 17k subscribers.

  13. I would like to leave you with this little known happenings in Brisbane, Australia but extremely useful content filled sessions, Ethereum Engineering Group

So, again, i would like to reiterate, you can expect similar information, that would only help in aiding one's blockchain development career related information only be shared and discussed in both the Meetups and Whatsapp group.
