Absolutely true, and I don´t really like bitcoin aswell. But that doesn´t change the fact that most people trade via bitcoin and need to buy into bitcoin before getting into alt. People still look at satoshi levels. And if Bitcoin gets some flashy news headlines, Hardfork or some lightning network upgrade. Peopel clinch to it and the hype begins all over again.
Bitcoin wont last, as people will realise its tech is just worse. But the majority of the investors are just following like sheep and aren´t as deeply involved known in the crypto space.
