The boys used to play ha-du-du, dangs, kabaddi, gollachut, khete khela, daur-jhamp, gadan, chike, kapaltoka, kanamachhi bho bho, malam khela, kusti, dub swimming, boating, lathi khela, bullfighting, rooster fighting , Hail bull, sack race, hide and seek and many more games. And the girls used to play Gollachut, Ekkadokka, Panchguti, Chorpulish, Bouchi, Kitarkit, Cow game, Pillow change, Lukochuri, Puppet game, Ranbabati and many other games.
Most of these games are now on the verge of extinction. Ha-du-du, kabaddi, lathikhela and a few other games are still in vogue. These games are still seen in rural areas during the first Boishakh and Grameen Mela. Instead of these traditional sports, football was introduced in this country a long time ago. Currently in danger due to lack of proper patronage and playground. Although cricket is not our domestic sport, it is one of the most popular sports in our country like other countries.

At one time shepherd boys used to go to the fields to graze cows and school going boys and girls used to play various rural sports.
