Great Idea but why is blockchain needed for this app? we already apps like datahost and the rest, so why is this needed and how are they going to compete with other giant file host?

well @nwanne, i strongly feel that blockchain is needed because of the security and reliabilty that it guarantees the user, with blockchain no one can target your data as it doesn't have a physical location, rather they are distributed across so many nodes in the network unlike the centralized cloud storage hosts that every body knows where their data centers are located
