CONCEPT
Kambria, a platform controlled by Kambria international, is a blockchain enabled platform. It is completely decentralized and open to innovations thereby promoting an eco-system where its users work collectively, with the aim of accelerating the adoption and development of the most advanced robotic technology, worldwide.
The platform as an open one, is made up of both hardware and software robotic parts geared towards maximizing collaboration and reusability during development.

To create and rapidly deliver consumer robots that are of utmost capability and affordability, easily and efficiently.
To ensure development of robots that would not be used in industries because of their price tags, but also in homes.
CHALLENGES OF THE ROBOTIC INDUSTRY AND THE SOLUTIONS KAMBRIA PROFFERS.
The platform believes in a world where impossibilities are made possible and abilities derived from disabilities and would promote this belief with its innovations which it hopes to be beneficial and implemented by other industries.
However, the industry of robotic development is faced with challenges like:
Poor supply of quality interfaces and layers of abstraction for systems like software, mechanical and electrical systems; poor provision of materials, semantics, and methodologies to share in a distributed way, parts of designs; discarding of vital portions of used efforts in an annoyingly implicit manner; slowness, high cost, difficulty in making robotic applications; and slowness in innovations etc.
The five pillars of the platform’s architecture will address these challenges. The pillars are : the KDNA (code base), innovation marketplace, manufacturing alliance, value capture, and legal enforcement.
Kambria seeks to address these odds by ensuring a more equitable and usable development of robots and also by making community members, collaboratively govern and enjoy the merits from the inevitable drastic change in robotics.
In addition, users will be incentivized when they share ideas in order to accelerate the innovation of robotics.
BENEFITS
The platform believes that the way forward in our present-day world is to avoid stagnation but continually make innovations especially in technology and also hope that the experience(s) to be gotten on it, will be beneficial to other industries, enthusiasts, universities etc. This is to ensure a collaboration in order to provide affordable value to inhabitants of the globe.
The token, KAT, is useful for all stakeholders on the platform. Companies use it to issue bounty challenging motivations to projects they desire to carry out, it is used to reward manufacturers for making robots and robotic parts, reward members of the community for promoting specific projects, used to fairly capture the right value for the enforcement of legal rights and sustain the growth of the community.
THE TOKENS
Kambria uses two tokens: KAT and kambria karma.
The former is an ethereum based utility token designed to enable accessibility on the platform, incentivize participants and align the reward for all stakeholders in the system while the latter is not ethereum based and cannot be traded. It is used to enter for wallet addresses, trace the actual work performed and foster useful work.
