According to Eheraldcorpf, on July 22nd, South Korean telecom giant SK unveiled its blockchain platform STON at the "Asia 2019" forum. The director of the SK Telecom Software Research Laboratory said that this is the first time to introduce STON on a formal occasion. It is reported that the platform is based on Hyperledger, which consists of STON solutions such as STON network, wallet, and decentralized identity (DID). On this basis, the blockchain platform also adds services such as self-sovereign authentication, business transactions, internet of things (loT), insurance and settlement. At the same time, SK Telecom also plans to launch digital asset custodial services. In addition, STON can share information with other blockchains such as Ethereum, Bitcoin and EOS.
