The Worlds Biggest Bitcoin Wallet Just Fucked All Its Users? - Blockchain.info

On Aug22, 2017 blockchain.info put out an announcement saying they would be giving everyone access to their BCC from the Bitcoin Hard fork.

As you can see it says that within 8 weeks there would be support and that the balance we had on Aug 1st in bitcoins would be the same balance we get in BCC. I have been checking over and over for the option to show up in the settings for the option to claim my BCC just like the post says.

After weeks of sending emails and searching online for how to do it, I finally resorted to using their support website. The first message I sent to support was with a screen shot of their announcement about how we will get our BCC. they answered back with a single line saying "use this link to change your password". I was so confused as my message to them only said how do I get my BCC from the fork with an attached screen shot of them saying we could. I wrote a reply saying I do not need to change my password I just need information on how to get my BCC out.

30 min later I refreshed the page to find out they suspended my support account.

I then changed my ip and made a new account. This time I took screen shot of everything as it happened as I now understand they can block me from support and from viewing the conversation I had with the support team.

The second paragraph says we get access to our BCC correct?

This is the reply I got back.

So they say they don't support BCC but then say they will offer limited support in the future. I then went to the link they provided to "learn more" and guess what, its the same announcement I added with my original question.

I am so confused now, the announcement says we will get access to the BCC but support says they don't support it but in the future they will and directed me to the announcement I provided them with as a way to learn more. -smfh-

I have not heard a single thing back sense then. first reply took 10 min, it has now been over 6 hours sense the last message to them.

I don't want to send another message and get my account suspended again. If they said it hasent been 8 weeks yet but in 10 days you will have the option I would have been like ok, I can wait longer if that's what it takes but instead they just told me they don't support it and if I need help with BCC to go talk to the BCC community. I don't even get how the BCC community could help with a wallet keeping everyones BCC from the fork.

What do you all think? within 8 weeks means less then 8 weeks so im 9 days early to say for sure they fucked everyone but its sure starting to feel that way with how they are acting towards people that ask about it. I mean suspending an account for asking how to get the BCC that they said we could get?

The 17th is 8 weeks and if the support team cant give any information on it do you think they are really 9 days away from rolling out their new support plan for giving everyone their BCC?

Feels shady to me and if its taking them this long to give us the BCC from the last fork then I will not be keeping my bitcoins in their wallet for the next fork.

Any advice on a good wallet? lol
