Lufthansa, Europe’s Biggest Airline Invests, is investing in a new blockchain solution which aims to cut exorbitant transactions fees and to eliminate entry barriers in order to make travel cheaper for end users and more profitable for for suppliers.

Windingtree promises to do this in decentralized manner, building a blockchain which allows small companies to compete with big ones, in order to bring back innovation into the travel industry.

Windingtree is holding an ICO over the Ethereum platform and they will generate ERC20 tokens in about 3 weeks.

      I am wondering if there is a purpose to create separate blockchain and don't just use ethereum. Why we need mining for their purpose?
      In my opinion token would be good enough.
      There are many advanteges of using ethereum platform.
