Four years ago, I published a presentation explaining how, in the future, the Global Financial Derivatives Market will utilise #Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology in order to accurately measure the Systemic Risk of the Global Banking System.

Four years on and I stand by every single word I said.

#Blockchain Financial Derivatives are set to become the nucleus of the new Global Financial System and one that will, in the next couple of years, see a Financial System that looks nothing like the one that is around today.

In order to understand how this Global Financial Revolution is set to transform the Global Financial System you have to first understand the role Derivatives play.

There is NO Free Market

Contrary to popular belief, there is NO Free Market.

Anyone who believes that we are operating in a Free Market are sadly mistaken and are in for a nasty shock.

I'll repeat this, there is NO Free Market..!!

The colossal Global Derivatives Market is THE MARKET.

There is no other market.

$1.5 Quadrillion Derivatives

There are currently in excess of $1.5 Quadrillion of Notional Financial Derivatives that are propping up the Financial System.

Nothing more than leveraged TOXIC FINANCIAL DEBT.!!

It is this mountain of toxic Financial Debt that NO ONE on the Planet is smart enough to assess the Systemic Risk of this imploding.

We are living in a World that is now so highly leveraged and highly manipulated through greed that the real financial picture is so distorted that it will take decades to re-align with fundamentals.

Start with the basics

In order to fully appreciate the path that we are on, I have published the complete presentation I made four year ago for the ones unfamiliar with what a Derivative is and how they are used to TRADE RISK.

Derivatives are nothing more than a 50/50 bet of a future event where one party wins, another one looses, and a third party makes a fee in setting up the bet.

It is that simple..!!

It has absolutely nothing to do with economics but is simply an engineered bet to transfer money from one pot to another.

Nothing complicated.

Smart Contracts to Global Derivatives

By implementing Smart Contracts to Global Derivatives it will allow, for the first time since the mid 1980's, the real Systemic Risk to be calculated and accurately modelled.

It is this modelling of future events that will effectively ensure that the Global Financial System can be developed for decades to come.

Without it, it will be like trying to thread a needle in the dark, with both hands tied behind your back, blindfolded, whilst standing on your head..!! ...on other words IMPOSSIBLE..!!
