I'll go give that a read -- but I've done quite a bit of reading on Ripple already, so I'll be surprised if I learn anything new.

    Well hopefully you read it with an open mind - it is not in competition with BTC, it is not a centralised currency any longer - anyone who uses XRP can apply to be a node on their Testnet and if pushing enough volume and with enough infrastructure to be one on the live network.
