This is the happy news for the Bitcoin fan community as more and more areas accept payment in Bitcoin.
In particular, according to a recent news source, there are more than 2,000 Coca-Cola vending machines across Australia and New Zealand now added a Bitcoin payment option.
Coca-Cola Amatil, the largest bottling house and distributor in Asia-Pacific, has partnered with the cryptocurrency payment company Centrapay, giving out this payment solution.
Accordingly from now in addition to the cash payment option, users can use BTC to pay the product.
In order to initiate payment in BTC, users will need to install the Sylo Smart Wallet on their phone. After the wallet is installed, Centrapay allows users to scan QR codes to pay for Coca-Cola items with Bitcoin.
In addition, not only Bitcoin is supported, but also a few other cryptocurrencies are accepted for payment by Coca-Cola.
The electronic money payment company Centrapay said with a crypto payment solution that will allow businesses to connect directly with users and help increase sales potential, payment barriers will be eliminated.
Centrapay's CEO Jerome Faury said the company has solved two major barriers to adopting crypto-currency payments, which is "the complexity of integration and the poor user experience".
Centrapay also said that they would be scaling the global cryptocurrency payment solution, currently in North America and the United States, the two markets that the company is aiming for.
