I've been thinking of an allegory similar to George Orwell's Animal Farm where the characters in the story represent specific Blockchains whose personality traits are similiar to a blockchain's technical characteristics and their arc in the story (and the story at whole) generally follows how the events have played out over the past 7+ years ... how to map these remains open for discussion/thought. Will I write this story? No. This is just a fun thought experiment similiar to those you've read on Reddit which ask something like: If each State was a person what would it be like?
I don't know about you, but I think the story would play out like this:
"Powerful farmer creates a magical farm out of blocks. Those blocks thrive and for a time things are good. Meanwhile other farmlife has evolved and begins to run amok. The farmer disappears. The farm becomes the farmer. Chaos ensues."
If you'd like, try and fill these in yourself. Describe their personality and eventual fate in the story.
Satoshi: Mysterious farmer that created a new magical farm out of blocks which proves to work.
Bitcoin: The farm's Pig. Powerful, Ghengis Khan of farm animals. Learns to combat Morbid Obesity through clever tricks and wheelchair ramps.
Ethereum: Super genius cow with multiple personality disorder. High tolerance to the effects of hashish.
SteemIt: Gossipy rooster. Khardhashian descent. Great business model.
Litecoin: Works hard but never can impress the girls. Definitely goat.
MaidSafeCoin: Flaky. Never shows up to family events. Maybe a chicken.
Lisk: Creepy half brother of the cow.
The DAO: One of Ethereum's personalities. Died in a fire at the age of 0 in a barn.
Ethereum Classic: Veal cow that just broke free.
Ripple: The sheep uncle no one has ever heard. He's apparently super rich, but no one know why or how.
Ethereum just tried to murder Ether Classic by the windmill.

Haha I remember that! I wish I was more current with what actually happened in that story. So I did my best which was good enough to have a little fun with it.
