We are going to post weekly things that have happened around Tutellus.io, both in relation to our ICO and any market curiosity that is worth to be explained. This is the way to understand, more and more, what is this of ‘Blockchain’.
1.- We started our ICO pre-sale one week later
Our CEO, Miguel Caballero, explained in this Twitter thread what happened about the smart contract’s deployement and the GAS associated to each transaction. Finally everything went well and we have the contracts of the TokenSale in production.
Ok, but… what’s a smart contract and what’s about the token sale?
A TokenSale is the process by which you put the tokens on sale so that users can buy them. A user can send the money (through ETH) directly to a wallet or a contract.
- If you send your money to a wallet, you must have “blind faith” in the destination company / wallet, since there are no conditions / clauses that establish anything. It’s like: “send me the money and then I’ll send you the tokens (or not)”.
- On the other hand, if you send the money to a smart contract, a contract is established between both sides, public and transparent for everyone: in our smart contract, for example, you can read the tokens that we give you and the discount than you can enjoy depending on the date you buy them, when we deliver them to you, who owns the wallet, etc. 100% transparency.Using smart contracts give us more credibility, transparency and reliability.
2.- Until Wednesday it was crazy to consolidate transactions.
We started the week with many transactions queued in Ethereum, and this caused that if you don’t give a very high gas price to consolidate your transaction, It was going back the queue and it was not consolidated. Look at the evolution until Wednesday, fortunately it is already improving.
Eherscan.io. Queued transactions in the last 4 days
Disclaimer: and what does this affect me?
If you want to send / move ETH from one place to another, make sure — these days — by setting a gas price of at least 40 Gwei. Do not try to do it with lower prices, because your transaction will not get caught by any miner (or it will take a lot of time and you will get nervous … and all for $ 1). The less transactions queued, less wait list and more receptive are the miners in confirmating transactions of lower gas.
3. We present Tutellus.io in CryptoInvest
Will full space in the room (almost 130 people), we presented tutellus.io in Cryptoinvest, where we could enjoy of some nice beers and exquisite conversation with everybody too. Next one will be next year!
So, can You buy TUT tokens already?
Yes, with minimum purchase of 5 ETH (around € 3,000). Until January 15, we keep the maximum discount (50%), then it will decrease progressively and weekly.
Remember that you have to complete a pre-registration process (KYC). You can do it from here.Any questions you have about anything described in the post, comment below and I will try to help you. We will make community among everybody and help ourshelves to learn more and better. :)
