China Communication Standards Association (CCSA) invited QLC Chain and other innovative industry leaders to discuss the implementation of blockchain technology in telecommunication and roadmap.

The meeting was held on June 22nd to 24th in Dalian, China. Dr. Jerry Chen, QLC Chinese Operation Director, was invited to attend the meeting and discussed the influence of IPFS on the current HTTP architecture as well as the network requirements.

Dr. Chen also presented on “Decentralized NaaS (Network as a Service) from QLC Chain” and was also part of a panel discussion, sharing his insight into 1) the substitution or symbiosis, IPFS and HTTP; 2) the ongoing collaboration among public chains; 3) the infrastructure requirement of network transfer from the future network content fragmentation; and 4) the future network services development direction.

Telecommunication standard affects network applications, network security and network services, which can influence the business model. The dissemination of blockchain technology, decentralized services will disrupt the current business model. Dr. Chen and QLC Chain are devoted to developing the next generation telecommunication standard and NaaS public chain, which will enable the decentralized integration for NAT, Storage, Routing and Security. According to QLC Chain’s roadmap, the team will complete the integration of IPFS to QLC Chain by the end of Q4 2018.
