I recently had the chance to participate in a technology session at work, revolving around blockchain technology and what are the next big things with regards to blockchain.
One of the applications the mentioned was the idea of storing your medical history inside the blockchain (encrypted offcourse, so that only you can decide who can see your history). Anytime somebody did a test, the results could be added to the blockchain, allowing a full history to available to everyone you want to share it with.
Working in the life sciences industry, I thought this was a very interesting idea. What do you guys think? Is the blockchain destined to become more than just cryptocurrencies?
