A Blockchain Ride Sharing Service Is Laucning In China

in blockchain •  7 years ago

This is a great step for ride-sharing tech. It is already working in a decentralized way so why not use the blockchain. This would cut down of fees for both the driver and the passenger. You could pick someone up, it could register on the app and then release payment when you reach the agreed upon spot. It would be a great user case of a coin.

I remember a coin called arcade city that was suppose to compete with uber is the states but it never took off. And I think there was another that was being worked on. The tech would remove the middle man and let people trade among themselves. This kind of tech could work for a lot of companies and lead to a work where more profits are shared from the service provider and the ones who pay for the service.

And this is why we are heading to a future of a freelance economy. When more and more of these apps get released it will be easier to make a living on your own.

Entering the ride-sharing world is a little bit tricky for the blockchain.

I'd be curious how the app handles accidents, malicious riders or drivers, and other negative aspects that would really benefit from a 3rd party 'overseeing' the drive in some way.

Now, that 3rd party could be other individuals on the blockchain, but it still feels like a requirement.

Imagine the world without fiat currencies but everything funded by crypto currency. That would be huge, crypto currencies are making thier mark on the fiat currencies and a world with crypto world be amazing.

Its the beginning of a new wave of consciousness, imagine driverless cars run on solar power and funded by crypto.

These apps makes our day to day life much more easier

I think this will be a heavy rival uber, because uber has not supported crypto, service with crypto is easier, easy and very helpful for the development of currency.
thanks for nice topic @whatageek

Little by little the bird does its nest. Likewise cryptocurrencies are making their mark because of their convenience over traditional one

That would be great, I can't wait to see this happens in my country.

Nice

Great idea. Wish we could cut out the middle man completely. Life is expensive and how much of what we pay is actually the cost of the producers fee.

its amazing

This kind of service could also apply to an Airbnb copy, but also to many other institutions - like education. In all actuality, education is largely untapped by the blockchain or crypto (as far as I know), and it badly needs the adaptation to the said technologies distrupting many other such industries.

For instance, a team or a collaboration of people should start working on a blockchain-based online academy - that would mine the grades of those studying under the domain of the said academy.
